Diesel Performance

JE Diesel performance tunes deliver vastly improved power and acceleration with response and flexibility. A spin-off benefit reported by many of our customers is enhanced fuel economy. JE make no claims in this area since more power usually results in a more exuberant driving style! However, like-for-like better fuel economy can be expected.
JE also pay particular attention to smoke and particulate emissions, unlike lesser tuners and, particularly, the add-on module brigade, who simply pump in extra fuel and trick the ECU. Such "modified" vehicles can usually be recognized by the vast clouds of noxious black smoke belching out of the exhaust. JE (and the few other top diesel tuners) re-write the entire map to give power with efficiency and no more smoke than any OE diesel, even under hard acceleration.
JE diesel tunes are as good as any, better than most, and usually cheaper than all! Needless to say, any JE fitted tunes that become wiped during routine servicing will be re-instated f.o.c.

After extensive testing at our German facility and further refinement on JE's own Evoque we are proud to announce the new JE tune for the Evoque/Freelander SD4 2.2. With 233 bhp and 495 Nm (over 400 Nm from 1600 - 400 rpm, THAT's tractable performance for a 2.2 litre diesel!) we are confident that this is the very best tune available for these models. JE do not rush to market with a half-developed product like some competitors. When JE produce a new tune you can be sure it has been fully developed, tested and refined to OUR exemplary standards. TDV8 (3.6 litre) Performance
A supremely developed tune gives awesome performance. Power upgraded to 315 bhp and torque increased to a staggering 800Nm. Speed limiter raised to 140mph for use where local laws permit.

TDV6 (2.7 litre) Performance
This superb JE tune gives a dramatic increase in performance, especially when fitted in the 2.7 V6 Range Rover ‘Sport'. 20% more power is useful, but the real extra grunt is produced with the 30+% increase in torque to a very respectable 575 Nm. No deterioration in fuel-economy has ever been reported, quite the opposite in fact!
Stage1 A remapped chip gives a performance upgrade to 235bhp and torque to 575Nm. 20% more power and 31% more torque.

TD6 Performance
Another "understated" JE tune that endows the Big Range Rover so fitted to cruise effortlessly with power for safe acceleration. A tune in perfect harmony with the stylish panache of the L322 Range Rover. No fuss, no noise, no white-knuckle overtaking manoeuvres, just power with style.
Stage1 A remapped chip increases power from 173bhp to 218bhp (increase of 45bhp) and torque from 390Nm to 488Nm (an increase of 98Nm) Effortless cruising and much improved acceleration.

Speed-limitation - Please note. JE limit vehicle speed to a maximum of 96 mph (153 kph) This is the result of the standard OE tyres normally fitted to these vehicles being General 'Grabber' TR which are 'Q' speed rated to 99 mph. JE will re-set the limiter to a higher speed on competition vehicles or those fitted with higher speed-rated tyres. Advisable if you want to hurl your JE-modified Defender round the Nurburgring, like this customer!
Td4 2.2 litre [Freelander2 2006 on] Performance
This great JE tune allows the already nippy Freelander 2 to really come alive! Developed at JE Deutschland and further refined by JE(UK) on the mountain roads and autobahnen around Munich and beyond, this is THE Freelander 2 tune. While 0 - 62mph acceleration is reduced by nearly 2 seconds (in spite of the torque-limiting software in the lower gears) the real advantages are seen in the mid-range acceleration times and sheer pulling power, even when towing.
Stage 1a. Giving around 185 bhp and 480Nm.

300 TDi Performance
Stage 1. You don't have to put up with the sluggish performance of the standard 300 TDi any more. JE 's much acclaimed mechanical fuel pump recalibration conversion for the 300 TDi provides 20% more performance in its revised form, providing 122 bhp & 320 Nm (235 Lb.ft) Torque, reducing 0 - 60 mph time by 3 seconds.

Stage 2. Comprising a mechanical fuel pump recalibration together with a gas flowed air inlet & intercooling system. Another 7% more performance is released, giving 132 bhp & 340 Nm (250 Lb.ft) Torque, taking another second off the 0 - 60 mph time.
